Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and your rights. Last updated 30 October 2026.
Who we are
6Ten Ventures is a trading name of 6Ten Management Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15872274). Our registered office is 124–128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. We are the controller of your personal information and we are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
If you have any questions about this notice or your information, email us at [email protected].
What we collect
When you join our angel network, we collect what you give us in the form:
- your name, email address and, if you choose, your phone number and LinkedIn profile
- where you are based
- your investing preferences, if you choose to share them
Before we share any investment opportunity with you, we ask you to sign an investor statement. We keep the statement, the reasons you ticked, your typed signature and the date.
When you join our events guest list, we collect your name and email address and, if you choose, how you describe yourself and whether you’d like to hear about the angel network.
When you pitch us, we collect your name, email address and what you tell us about your business, including your pitch deck or a link to it if you share one, and, if you choose, your website or LinkedIn profile.
When you email us, we keep your message and our reply.
Why we use it
- To run the network. To review your request, keep in touch with you and invite you to events. We rely on our legitimate interest in running the network, and on taking steps you have asked us to take.
- To review your pitch. To read it, consider whether we can work together and get back to you about it. We rely on our legitimate interest in finding and backing new companies.
- To run our events. To tell you about upcoming events and manage the guest list. We rely on our legitimate interest in running our events.
- To share opportunities lawfully. UK rules on promoting investments mean we must keep a record of the statement you sign before we share any opportunity with you. We rely on our legal obligations and our legitimate interests.
- To send you news and updates. Only if you tick the box to receive them. We rely on your consent, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for automated decisions about you.
Who we share it with
We treat pitches as confidential. Only the 6Ten team sees them, and we won’t share your deck outside 6Ten without asking you first.
We use trusted service providers to host our website, send and store our emails, and keep our records. They only use your information to provide their service to us. Some of them are based outside the UK, and where that is the case we make sure your information is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you are part of the network or on our events list. We keep pitches for up to two years, so we can look back if we talk again, and then delete them. If you leave, we keep your signed investor statement and related records for up to six years, in case we need them to show we followed the rules, and then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your information, where we don’t need to keep it
- stop using it, or restrict how we use it
Email [email protected] and we’ll reply within one month. You can stop hearing from us at any time by replying to any of our emails.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We’d be grateful for the chance to put things right first.
